Our 2025 Hunting Guide is filled with the best times, give or take, to go hunting in Maine. 

When I had the idea to create our hunting guide, I started creating the method to provide these times and helpful tips which have been proven over the course of the last 10 years, while perfecting them carefully prior to bringing it to you, the customer. 

This is the digital version, which you can take with you on the go -- on your phone, tablet or laptop (or use it on a desktop!) computer. 

A little about me, and what I bring to making the guide special:

My name is Sterling Waterman. I'm 60 years old and I have been hunting & fishing since I was 8. 

I got my first 8 pointer at 13 years old & I have harvested a deer from 10 years old until I was 20 years old every season. 

I shot the state record for biggest moose, at 1,330lbs. I still hold that record to this day. 

The last deer I shot was a 300lb white tail. 

I have spent 40 years hunting in the big northern Maine woods, starting around Moxie Lake area, going further north to Aroostook.
